Step 2 - The person you refer applies for a loan
Obviously, we appreciate you sharing the good word to anyone you have in mind, but at the moment, we have money just sitting here and we're in need of people to loan to. That's why we're asking that the person you refer (at least to be eligible for your $25) apply for one (or more) of the many loans we offer.
Step 3 - Your referral's loan is approved and funded
Yep! That's pretty much it- once their loan is funded we deposit $25 into your share account here at the credit union and your referral gets $50.

VA Desert Pacific Federal Credit Union will deposit $50 (“Bonus”) to the share savings account of a qualified New Primary Share Account Holder within three days after the New Primary Share Account opens a Personal Loan account, Auto Loan account or Home Loan account. VA Desert Pacific Federal Credit Union will deposit $25 (“Award”) to the share savings account of a qualified Existing Account Holder within three days after the New Primary Share Account opens a Personal Loan account, Auto Loan account or Home Loan account. The required minimum amount for a Personal Loan is $2,500 and minimum for an Auto Loan is $10,000. For the purpose of this promotion, a New Primary Share Account is defined as a person/account holder who is eligible for membership, does not have an existing account at VA Desert Pacific Federal Credit Union, has never caused a loss to VA Desert Pacific Federal Credit Union, and opens the required accounts. Award will be paid to one account only, even if any account holder has additional VA Desert Pacific Federal Credit Union accounts. If qualifying accounts are closed within 180 days from account opening, the Award will be deducted from the account and reclaimed by VA Desert Pacific Federal Credit Union. Fees and Opening Deposit: A $10 membership fee is required to open a Primary Share account, which is required before a loan account may be opened. Minimum deposit requirements exist for deposit account products; refer to the VA Desert Pacific Federal Credit Union Member Savings Account disclosure, VA Desert Pacific Federal Credit Union Schedule of Fees and Charges, and VA Desert Pacific Federal Credit Union Membership & Account Agreement given to you at account opening for details. Fees could reduce earnings on the account. A penalty will or may be imposed for early withdrawal. Eligibility: Membership eligibility required.
